Find souvenirs, artifacts, modern art, handicrafts, batik, traditional clothing and crafts of Malaysia at one place. Established in 1888, Central Market captures the cultural heritage of Malaysia. This is definitely one of my all time favourite locations to explore in Kuala Lumpur.
Petaling Street (Chinatown) and Kasturi Walk are located right next the markets.
Pavilion, Farenheit88, Sephora & Sungei Wang are centrally located in Bukit Bintang, the tourist center of Kuala Lumpur. Shop from mid-range local brands to international chains all under one roof. Frequent sales offer great prices on many fashion products. Stop to take a break at one of many food outlets, cafes within the shopping malls.
Sungei Wang is home to mid-range shopping and locally manufactured products as well as toys. Beauty services and money-changers can be found in this market. An overhead walkway connects Sungei Wang to Bukit Bintang Train Station and H&M stores.
Mid-City Malls is another of my favourite shopping place with plenty of choice, great deals and excellent restaurants.

Changkat in Bukit Bintang is the heart of the nightlife with plenty of bars, clubs and Irish pubs playing live music all through the night. Movida, Pisco Bar, Havana Bar and Grill & Disco Tech are popular veneues in the neighbourhood. Cafes serve food till early hours of the morning.

Offering the worlds largest open air aviary, Kuala Lumpur Bird Park is home to over 1000 varieties of unique local and foreign birds. The Park is located next to Kuala Lumpur Butterfly Park, KL Botanic Gardens and the Museum of Islamic Art.Book Online
Kuala Lumpur Perdana Botanic Garden is easily accessible from KL Bird Park and is a great place to explore large range of flora and fauna of Malaysia.
The Park has a huge play area for children with a number of rides. Give yourself enough tine to explore this location. The park lies on the route of Hop-on Hop-off Bus.
Other places to visit includes Hibiscus Garden, Orchid Garden and Herb Garden locted in the same area.
One of the most important Hindu places of Worship, Batu caves is a popular tourist location attracting large crowds throughout the year. I suggest to visit Batu Caves on your way to Genting Highlands.read more

Petronas Twin Towers are the the tallest twin towers in Asia and important landmark of Malaysia's prosperity. Aquaria KLCC is located in the basement of the Petronas Twin Towers. The entry fee to the foot-bridge connecting the two towers is RM 80. KLCC Park is located irght next the twin towers and KLCC Suria Mall. Luxury Mandarin Oriental and Traders Hotel by Shangrila are located adjacent to the twin towers.

Kuala Lumpur mini zoo is located right next to the Menara offers a lovely collection of birds and animals. Visiting Menara KL is definitely amgonst top ten things to do in KL.
A canopy walk is located in the same area as MENARA KL.
There are normally long queues at this location, therefore, booking online is highly recommended. The Observation deck on the top of the Menara KL offers amazing views of KL Skyline.
