The Entrance NSW

fun at the entrance waterfront

Watch city council staff feed the pelicans at the waterfront at 330 pm everyday. The shallow water is great for swimming, splash or kayaking.

Last day of February was a warm one with mercury touching 28c. The beachgoers were camped along the beach and enjoying the shallow tide.  Occasional swimmer jumped into the waterfront and kept the pelicans on the sandy island.

Lunch menu at the local Preecha Thai Restaurant is quite basic but quite flavorsome. This has to be followed by a sweet scoop from Ciao Bella Gelato Bar just around the corner. The Entrance hotel was packed with local crowd enjoying live music and chilled beer.

**Note: do not feed the pelicans

A HOME TO PELICANS

A family of pelicans have made The Entrance waterfront their home. The beautiful birds add some noise and commotion to the relatively quite area.

Sunset at Lake tuggerah

kids & family fun

Enjoy the Pelican Express, the ultimate train ride along the waterfront with scenic views. A Ferris wheel, a merry-go-round and splash area is enough to keep the young ones occupied for a while.
