  • Kuala Terengganu an amazing Malaysian Destination

    Kuala Terengganu

Kuala Terengganu is an important and culturally interesting city to visit in the North-Eastern part of Malaysia. Kuala Terengganu is quite popular with people accessing the Perhentian Islands, Palau Redang and Kapas Islands which offer some of the best diving and snorkelling locations on the East Coast of Malaysia. Most international tourists use Kuala Terengganu as a starting point for travelling to the Perhentian Islands which attracts during peak seasons between March and November.

  • Kuantan Pahang - East Coast of Peninsular Malaysia

Kuantan is an amazing destination to explore with the family or for a solo traveller. The city is easily accessible from Kuala Lumpur by road or air. The interstate road network in Malaysia is world-class and driving is an enjoyable experience. For budget travellers catching a bus is an equally comfortable way to travel from Kuala Lumpur to Malaysia.

  • Pulau Kapas - (Kapas Island) near Kuala Terengganu

    kapas island malaysia

Pulau Kapas is a popular island destination on the East coast of Malaysia because of its easy access from Kuala Terengganu and Kuantan. Kapas Island is an amazing destination for a day trip if you are staying in Kuala Terengganu.

Most tourists stop at KT to catch a ferry to the Perhentian Islands where they normally stay for one or two nights. Pulau Kapas offers easy access for families and travellers who do not want to spend a night in the Islands. I travelled to Pulau Kapas in August 2019 which is a great time of the year to explore this unique location. Here is some useful information if you are planning to explore Pulau Kapas.

  • Visiting Kuantan in Pahang

    Kuantan East Malaysia

Kuantan is the capital city of Pahang on the East Coast of Peninsular Malaysia.I travelled to Kuantan from Kuala Terengganu in September 2019. The road trip takes around 2.5 hours and passes through a number of interesting and laid-back coastal towns including Kuala Dungan, Chukai, and Cherating. These coastal towns are popular for water sports and attract crowds from surrounding towns over the weekends. There are a number of seaside resorts along Cherating Beach.
