Best things do in kl

For food lovers, Kuala Lumpur offers an amazing mix of traditional Malay, Chinese, Nyonya (Peranakan) and Indian Cuisine. Modern cafes and restaurants are very popular offering food from around the world.

Kuala Lumper is the number one destination for honeymooners from Middle-East offering a unique cultural experience of a very moderate Muslim Society with a richness of Buddhist and Indian culture. KL offers world-class shopping in some of the best shopping Malls including KLCC Suria, Pavilion, Mid-city Mall etc.

Book Ansa Hotel in the heart of Bukit Bintang

Ansa

I have tried to cover some of the most interesting locations to visit and things do in Kuala Lumpur.

Jalan Alor Bukit Bintang

Jalan Alor Bukit Bintang

Jalan Alor, Jalan Ramlee and Changkat Walk

Location Type: City Center
Places of attractions: Jalan Alor (food street), Changkat (Bars & Clubs), Jalan Ramlee (Restaurants)
Shopping: Sungei Wang, Fahrenheit 88, Pavilion, Sephora, Berjaya Times Square
Station: Bukit Bintang (Light Rail)

Bukit Bintang is my all-time favourite location with an active nightlife, massage places, cafes, bars, restaurants, money changers and shopping Malls.

Jalan Alor is the food street which becomes the centre of attraction for tourists as the sun goes does. Dozens of seafood restaurants cook food in local Malay and Chinese Style. I enjoy grilled chicken wings at 1 Jalan Alor, Stay Chicken Sticks, Steamed Talapia and a number of Asian dishes cooked in different styles.

Enjoy local fruit including durian, pomegranate, jackfruit, mangosteens, lychee at the roadside stalls along Jalan Alor.

Around the corner, you will find people asking you to enjoy 1-hour foot massage under 30RM. This is a must-try after an exhaustive day of excursions and walking in the humidity of Kuala Lumpur. My favourite establishment is Zen1 located in Changkat.

Popular nightclubs and bars like whisky bar, Movida, Zion Club, Green Man and Healy Macs amongst others are situated on Changkat Bukit Bintang.

My favourite Restaurant ( Bijan ) is located at the end of Changkat.
